Post Church Photos

These are funny!

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter Weekend! Ryan had a nice break from a couple of stressful weeks and played in a softball turnament all day Saturday. Ryan's parents came up from Portland to keep the kids and I company. Luckily the weather cooperated on Saturday for the egg hunt. Connor did awesome. He had the age advantage this year because his group was 3 and under. :) I had the treat of getting a few "alone" hours to go shopping and run some errands while Grandma and Grandpa babysat. Yipee! Sunday morning was fun, but a little crazy. The kids found their baskets and then we had to rush to get ready for 9:00am church. You'll see in the photos that we didn't have time to take pictures before church and after 3 hours of church no one was in the mood for photos. Oh well!!! The kids did look very cute at one point...I promise. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner after church, said good-bye to Grandma and Grandpa, and then took 3 hour naps! All in all...a great Easter. Hope yours was good too!

Get'cha Head In The Game

As most of you know Connor is a sports nut! He loves all sports, but basketball has always been #1. He was introduced to Highschool Musical by his "Texas" grandparents last November and loves to make his own music video to "Getcha Head in the Game." bYou'll be able to tell that it is more about the performance than skill. :) Sadie even gets in on the action sometimes. Hope you enjoy!

"Portland" Grandma's Birthday

We had a fun Saturday celebrating "Portland" Grandma's Birthday. Friday night Connor made chocolate cupcakes. I've included a funny video clip that shows him in the process. He can actually do all the steps of making cupcakes himself with out making too big of a mess. No telling how much "Connor Saliva" ends up in the batter, but it all gets cooked out right?!?!? Saturday Ryan's parents came down and we spent a fun afternoon going to lunch and walking around Tumwater falls park. Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera to the Falls. It was a beautiful day, and we all enjoyed the beauty of the park. Connor especially liked throwing rocks off the bridge down into the rushing waterfall. Afterwards, we went back to our house and had some of Connor's special cupcakes. It was a great day!

Another day at the Park

We have had an unusual amount of good weather here. Good for us here in the Northwest in March is hig 40's low 50's and cloudy. Up here, when you see a decent day, you drop everything and go to the park because you are afraid that it will rain for the next 40 days. The kids and I are on a streak now of going to the park everyday since last Monday. I have slacked on my housework, but the kids and I have not only survived all of Ryan's travels the last 2 weeks, but actually enjoyed ourselves. I haven't been able to go to the gym or workout because Ryan has been gone, so instead in the evenings after dinner I have packed Sadie on my back, put Connor in the jogging stroller, and Cooper's leash in my right hand and power walked around the neighborhood. I am sure its a funny sight to see, but we all get some fresh air, I get a little workout, and then I put the kids to bed. Its nice to have Ryan home now though. I did get to go for a litttle run this evening with some girlfriends with no kids. Here are a few pics from our day at the park with friends today.

Finally...

So... after being convinced by family that I need to start a blog...here we go. I'll try to post recent pictures often of the kids since we live so far away from most of our family.
I'll try to quickly summarize what we have been up to the last year or so. Ryan and I celebrated our sixth anniversary last November! Crazy! Time really does fly. We have two great kids now... (I still get a little freaked out by the plural "s"-and we are almost a year into it). Connor Ryan is 3 1/2 years and Sadie Elizabeth is 10 1/2 months. They are wonderful and a lot of work. :) We are still living in Olympia, WA and love everything about it except the rain! We have an awesome ward, neighborhood, good freinds, and have especially enjoyed living closer to Ryan's parents who are now in Portland. Ryan is still pushing drugs for Pfizer and I am lucky enough (most days) to be able to stay home with the kids. Here are a few pics from the last few months. Enjoy!
