Even though we had just moved and life was crazy, I talked Ryan into going to Utah for Thanksgiving break. Because we were unsure of moving or not over the summer, we never went on a family vacation and we were way overdue. We took off the Friday before Thanksgiving and stayed the night in Portland. Anette and Mark were kind enough to watch Cooper for us. Then we headed to Idaho to visit Adam and Nicole for the last time in Boise. They moved to Nashville in December. It was good to spend time with their cute family and also to have a break in the drive.
Sunday we made it to Emily and Tom's house late. The kids were surprisingly well behaved the whole drive thanks to technology.
Our first day in Utah, we went to the Tracy Aviary and saw and learned about some cool birds. My favorite was spending time outdoors at the park. The weather was super sunny and mild~a nice change from Olympia rain. The kids really didn't care what we did. They just love spending time with cousins.
