When the weather was particularly bad a couple of weeks before spring break, we decided to book some tickets to go see some cousins, grandparents, and SUN! Ryan couldn't take the time off work, so the kiddos and I took off to Houston together. The flight down went well. The kids are so spoiled with their own dvd players, an ipad, and an iphone. How did we ever get by with out so many electronics??
The first couple of days grandma and grandpa were in Boise for Madison's baptism. Melanie let her kids ditch school, and we loved going to parks, the pool, going on walks, and eating at Chick-fil-A! The cousins instantly hit it off, Melanie and I had a blast, and Jon bonded with Eliza by offering her endless Oreo cookies and any other junk food she wanted.

Looks like a fun trip! Too bad Ryan didn't get to go, too. We also couldn't stand the horrible winter weather, so went to Maui over spring break for some much needed sun. I'm hoping this summer will be much better than the past 2 years. The picture of Eliza in the next post sipping juice on the pool chair is too cute!
